Captain Jacob not only is incredibly knowledgeable of all the different species of fish we have on the nature coast, he also is extremely well versed on the history of the area. My husband and I have fished these waters for years but learned so, so much from Captain Jacob. We highly recommend booking a trip, especially for the Reds! We will definitely be booking again.

I've been on every type of guided saltwater trips you can do and on this trip I took my cousin and her husband and was by far one of the most enjoyable trips we've been on. I consider myself a great caster and inshore fishermen but Captain Jacob puts me to shame. I've never fished with a Captain who could make hundreds of long cast and place it inches from the mangrove shoreline where the bait has to be to catch the bigger snook and redfish. Not only will you catch plenty of fish you'll learn so much from a really knowledgeable Captain. If you want to book a guided trip where you not only catch fish but have a great time and have a memorable trip you'll always remember then book with Just Breathe Charters. And like me you'll book future trips with him.
I started following Jacob/Just Breath Cherters on his FB and liked what I was seeing and what he was all about. I'm an avid fisherman but always looking to learn new waters and new ways. After a few text dialogs with him I was convinced that I wanted to fish with him. Scheduled a trip a few weeks ago I was not disappointed. Jacob is definitely knowledgeable of the area and the fishery. Just as important, he wants to teach you, not just watch you reel in a fish (or 20). Caught some nice over slot fish all day long. Captain Jacob put us on the fish! Highly recommend. For Big Redfish around Crystal River this is the captain to book.
My friend and I had a great time! Caught some huge redfish and some mangrove and drum that were great table fare! Jacob ensure that we enjoyed ourselves the entire trip and there was never a dull moment on the beautiful nature coast.
I had a great time, and learned a lot from the captain. We fished the Ozella area. It truly was a great trip. We limited out on redfish. That was the fish. We were targeting that day and that’s what I wanted to catch. The captain is young and knows his stuff. He volunteered his time for Operation Odyssey Outdoors O3. He took veterans out fishing during the week we were there. everyone had a great time. I highly recommend him to anyone who wishes to fish the back waters of Crystal River, Ozella, and any other area close to there. Thank you for a great trip and a great time five stars.

Capt. Jacob put us on the fish within 15mins of being out! Multiple Overslot Redfish, My girlfriend and I both got Fat slot fish also! 10 out of 10 Recommend!! Lots of other fish on the boat throughout the day also!!! At 1 point we Caught Multiple Overslot and a keeper in 10mins! 👌 What A Day!! Go see for Yourself!!
Jacob is a nice dude with a helpful attitude. He showed up early to secure live bait for us and was able to put us onto some nice fish despite the difficult summer season
